Synopsis

Branded residential projects have increasingly emerged as a significant field of interior design production in which the concept of luxury is addressed together with aesthetic appreciation, brand identity, lifestyle representation, and spatial configuration. In this context, the global luxury approach offers a contemporary and multilayered framework for explaining the formation of interior design in branded residential projects. This study aims to evaluate the global luxury design approach through the Q1 Project. The research is structured in line with a conceptual framework and a case study method. Within this scope, the concept of luxury is discussed through parameters such as distinction, sign value, experiential qualities, functional value, and product quality; and interior design in branded residential projects is considered to be shaped within an integrated system that brings together product, brand, and lifestyle. Within the scope of the Q1 Project, spatial organization, plan layout, functional distribution, material and detailing language, as well as atmosphere and lighting use, are examined. The evaluation indicates that the design decisions adopted in the project present a structure associated with the fundamental principles of the global luxury approach through such elements as a high standard of detailing, a consistent interior language, qualified material selection, and controlled atmosphere production. In this framework, the study supports addressing contemporary luxury in interior spaces through design systems, representational language, and experiential configuration.
