Textile and style creations designed with a maritime theme are not just clothing items, but designs that facilitate survival. The "naval uniforms," first exemplified in 18th-century Europe, shed light on today's fashion. The fashion sense created by marine culture has charted a multifaceted path for the textile industry. Initially vital, the sailor style has now revolutionized the formation of aesthetic perception. The emergence of blue and white stripes is of vital importance. This color palette, created to make one visible in case of falling into the sea, serves the changing and developing aesthetic perspective throughout history. Therefore, it is possible to evaluate the process of the sailor style as a changing aspect of the textile industry and fashion understanding up to the present day. This study examines the place and function of marine aesthetics, equivalent to the sailor style, in ready-to-wear within the context of changing design concepts. The aim of the study is to reveal the marine culture and aesthetics of the sailor style in today's men's fashion in the context of ready-to-wear. The scope of the study includes the marine aesthetic found in ready-to-wear clothing and men's fashion as of 2000.
